Mombiedro's work is nourished by accumulated references throughout his life. Born in Madrid in 1988, he studied architecture in Madrid, Hamburg and São Paulo, and is currently residing and working in New York City. Mombiedro´s creative process focuses on a trajectory that expands on exploration and discipline through different avenues of design and architecture, from interior and exhibition design to the oversight of construction on some of New York City's tallest skyscrapers.

The differentiating value of Mombiedro's work is its way of leaning on the different trades, incorporating the advice of experts in metal, stone and textiles, designing and working together with them. The result is an artisanal product made entirely in small workshops in Madrid in which each piece is made manually on request and individually. This direct attention allows a unique personalization, respectful of the individuality of the client, turning each piece into a collector's item.

Mombiedro has been published in many international publications and his first collection of furniture has been applauded and he is recognized as one of twenty-four emerging talents in the world by Dwell Magazine, the renowned New York City based publication, in September 2019

El trabajo de Ángel Mombiedro (Madrid, 1988) se nutre de referencias acumuladas a lo largo de su vida. Con formación en Arquitectura en Madrid, Hamburgo y São Paulo y experiencia profesional en Nueva York, donde actualmente reside, Mombiedro va dibujando una trayectoria que crece a través de la exploración en distintas ramas de la disciplina y a distintas escalas; desde diseño expositivo hasta rascacielos neoyorquinos pasando por el interiorismo y la creación de imagen corporativa.

Todo el mobiliario se produce bajo encargo en talleres artesanales de Madrid. Esta atención directa permite una personalización de cada objeto a través de un diálogo creando un solución única y respetuosa con la individualidad del cliente, convirtiendo cada pieza en un artículo de coleccionista.

Su trabajo ha sido publicado en numerosas revistas de tirada nacional e internacional. Su primera colección de mobiliario ha tenido una amplia repercusión, siendo nombrado entre los veinticuatro (24) mejores diseñadores emergentes del mundo por la revista neoyorquina Dwell Magazine en septiembre de 2019.
